I owned a Taurus 10 years ago as my first magnum. That thing was a piece of junk, after I would fire off my cylinder the casings would not eject, I would have to pound the ejector rod on a table/bench/something very sturdy before they would come out. My experience with that Revolver soured me on Taurus. Since you are advertising/endorsing them, and given your "distaste(?)" for pounding the ejector rod, why would you recommend Taurus? If one got into a SD situation and had that same issue that would be incredibly problematic, if not fatal. Sincere, good faith question.

Too late, "you bot it, it urz". O.k. Good or better deal. Then, wife bot Rough Rider w/"rebate". Took a week to get Taurus just to accept form for "rebate". "Time Table" jumped from "4-6 weeks" to "8-14" weeks. Checked for check rebate/expected"Venmo" 3-card Monte switch.( we don't use online crap)That was 2.5 months ago. Acct still labeled "pending". Got a feeling of "screwed, again". Now GX2 is the next "carrot dangling in front of donkey". "3rd time the charm", Big T!! No Mas!!

Thanks for the video. This helped me decide to go with the 3" 000 5 pellet for my 410 home defense shotgun. Solid group at 25 ft. Would love to see this tested on a Paul Harrell meat target. Great job.

I can't even imagine shooting at any kind of target that's 45 feet away with that gun. This simply wasn't designed for that. There's no reason to try to prove anything at that distance. Carrying a gun gives you a license to be a chicken and run away. Reeling it in to 7 to 10 yards maximum makes way more sense. 🐓🤷🙈

I wonder why you have so many downvotes? Also, 40 is the goat. More capacity, less recoil, and a smaller frame than 45, but guaranteed penetration (per the Miami-Dade test) even with a slightly sub-optimal ammo choice. Ideal ammo choice still won't over-penetrate, so really, the only thing bad about it is that there are a lot of detractors who just have soft hands and loud mouths on social media.

I wish you would make a semi auto as long the lines of the S&W EZ or Ruger lite rack. I like the feel of the Taurus but arthritis makes the slide difficult to operate. I'd like a little more capacity than my 856.

I will never go near a taurus. Its own manual says don't carry with one in the chamber. It may fire if bumped or dropped.

Looks good, Caleb @TaurusFirearms Brazil could send GX2XL Toro NMS with no new major parts just safety delete plastic plug perhaps so OR No Safety doesn't likely require anything other than plastic plug Instead of external safety install. So very low cost to release a XL toro No manual safety version w literally just a plastic plug instead of safety inserted at factory. Where and when can I get a couple plastic sleeves to use Carry mags? Thanks. Better and higher texture than CC9 and competitors way to go & great ergos means lower recoil!
